2020 Toyota Prius | Toyota Direct in Columbus, OHThe 2020 Toyota Prius offers a range of great features. The hybrid electric car comes in a few different trim levels of increasing quality and price: the L Eco, LE, XLE, and Limited. Here are some of the differences between models, to aid you in making the right choice for you.

L Eco

The base L Eco trim comes loaded with a hefty number of useful standard features. The LED headlights provide all-day visibility, while heated mirrors prevent an icy buildup during inclement weather. Automatic climate control provides comfort without hassle. Adaptive cruise control and an ergonomic steering wheel help keep drivers at ease and comfortable for longer periods.

The base model also has a sophisticated infotainment system that includes a responsive touch-screen LCD display and a high-quality audio system with six speakers. Steering-wheel-mounted audio controls and voice-activated radio controls make it easier to use the sound system without taking attention away from the road. The system also has smart device integration through Apple CarPlay and Amazon Alexa compatibility.

The model’s safety features include automatic high beams, eight total airbags (including driver and passenger front-impact airbags, seat-mounted driver and passenger side-impact airbags, knee airbags, and first and second-row overhead airbags), and power door locks.

The L Eco trim runs with ultra-low-rolling resistance tires, a hybrid battery, and an inflation kit instead of a spare tire. The L Eco scores a remarkable 56 mpg combined fuel economy rating.

LE

For a few thousand dollars more, the very practical LE trim includes a few additional features. Front and rear parking sensors help navigate tight spots by alerting you when you’re getting close to another object, while the automatic parallel parking system takes the steering wheel out of your hands. Another handy feature is the added rear window wiper.

XLE

The luxury variant of the 2020 Prius, the XLE trim provides an expanded set of comfort and convenience features while achieving a combined 52 mpg. The 17-inch wheels are an upgrade from the 15-inch wheels in the base model. Keyless entry is available for the rear hatch. Simulated leather upholstery makes for a more comfortable ride, and extra USB ports and a wireless charging pad make it possible to keep all your devices charged. The Advanced Technology Package, which is available as an add-on to this trim, includes a head-up display and adaptive headlights.

Limited

Finally, the highest available trim, the Limited, adds even more features, including a power sunroof, the Advanced Technology Package, a navigation system, a much larger 11.6-inch touch screen, and a premium audio system.
