2020 Toyota Camry | Toyota Direct in Columbus, OHThe 2020 Toyota Camry is one of the best options in its class for performance, fuel economy, entertainment, and more! Read on to learn more about some of the best features of the vehicle – they’ll probably bump it to the top of your list!

Engine, Transmission, and Performance

The standard four-cylinder engine of the 2020 Toyota Camry comes with an eight-speed automatic transmission. For a more powerful engine, the line also has the 301-horsepower V-6 engine available in the XLE and XSE models. Both engines use the D-4S direct injection system that provides sufficient power yet efficient fuel usage. The handling responsiveness, specifically the weighted steering and brake pedal, gives a strong sense of control to the driver, especially in turning corners and negotiating tight parking spots. The Camry’s independent MacPherson strut front suspension and multi-link rear suspension help create a smooth ride for long trips.

Fuel Economy and Real-World MPG

The EPA tests found that the entire 2020 Camry line performs excellently, with up to 41 mpg on the highway. The four-cylinder SE model did especially well in Car & Driver’s real-world highway testing, where it beat its own previous EPA rating by 6 with an MPG of 45. It’s now the most efficient and economical nonhybrid car Car & Driver has tested, even beating the Camry XLE hybrid by 1 mpg in the real-world test.

Interior, Comfort, and Cargo

From the basic SE trim to the top-of-the-line, ultra-luxurious XLE, the Camry provides spacious and comfortable accommodation for riders. The large cargo space and trunk capacity offer an impressive amount of storage for most needs, comparable to most large sedans in the market. The Camry Hybrid’s battery is located beneath the rear seats to make more space available for storage.

The Camry also comes with smart keys that can remotely unlock doors and open the trunk, seats with power adjustments and leather trim, as well as an option to add heated front seats.

Infotainment and Connectivity

Toyota’s Entune 3.0, a touch-screen infotainment system, comes standard with every model in the Camry lineup, with an optional premium advanced variant. It comes with a variety of features and responds well to user input. Another notable feature is smartphone integration. The Camry is now compatible with Android Auto, Apple CarPlay, and Amazon Alexa.

Safety and Driver-Assistance Features

The Camry is rated 5 stars by the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration  (NHTSA), one of the top safety agencies in the USA, while the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety (IIHS), another top agency, rated the Camry as its Top Safety Pick for 2018. Toyota’s driver assistance technology comes standard across all of its products, including standard forward-collision warning with pedestrian detection and automated emergency braking, automatic high beams, standard lane departure warning and lane-keeping assist, and full-speed range dynamic cruise control.

Warranty and Maintenance Coverage

Toyota offers Camry owners a varied set of options for complimentary scheduled maintenance, including a limited warranty that covers three years or 36,000 miles, a powertrain warranty that covers five years or 60,000 miles, and complimentary maintenance that covers two years or 25,000 miles.
