2020 Toyota RAV4 Hybrid

Choose from four RAV4 Hybrid trim models: the LE, XLE, XSE, and Limited. Each offers an increasing amount of comfort, convenience, and style. The LE is nicely equipped with modern features, including LED headlights. Upgrade to the XLE for a savvier daily drive; this trim model includes push-button start and proximity entry. In the XSE, you'll enjoy greater athleticism, compliments of the sport-tuned suspension and larger wheels. The top-trim Limited is easy to spot, thanks to its chrome exterior trim.

Each RAV4 Hybrid trim model features the same powertrain, a 2.5-liter four-cylinder engine coupled with a continuously variable automatic transmission. An additional electric motor powers the rear wheels in low-traction situations, effectively supplying all-wheel-drive performance. Combined, the engine and motors produce a total of 219 horsepower.

With its quick acceleration and precise steering, the hybrid crossover is decidedly fun to drive. Thanks to its standard all-wheel-drive performance, you can wander down off-road trails and maintain precision on wet pavement without a hitch. And the suspension does an excellent job of smoothing out the bumps in the road, leaving you to enjoy a comfortable ride, even over broken pavement!

The RAV4 Hybrid was designed to deliver a perfectly comfortable commute. Front seats are nicely padded for long-term support, and backseat passengers will revel in the head- and legroom. The cabin also does an excellent job of keeping wind and road noise at bay, so you can talk comfortably with your carpooling co-workers. Thanks to a comfort-tuned suspension, this crossover smooths over bumps in the road for impressive ride comfort.

As you climb the trim levels, you'll enjoy a longer list of interior features. The base LE is nicely equipped with reclining rear seats, a 7-inch infotainment touch screen, and a six-speaker sound system. This year, the RAV4 Hybrid adds Android Auto to its standard smartphone integration lineup, which already includes Apple CarPlay and Amazon Alexa.

For increased comfort and convenience, check out the XLE. It adds upgraded leather upholstery and extra USB ports to keep devices charged. The sporty XSE adds simulated leather upholstery, heated front seats, and a larger 8-inch touch screen. In the top-of-the-line Limited, you'll find true luxury. This hybrid crossover comes standard with navigation and driver-seat memory settings.

Every 2020 RAV4 Hybrid comes standard with the Toyota Safety Sense 2.0 package. It includes a variety of high-tech safety aids designed to help you spot danger, including lane departure alert and automatic high beams. The road sign assist system helps you keep track of speed limit signs, do not enter signs, and yield signs, among others. The new lane tracing assist feature helps keep the RAV4 Hybrid centered in its lane. The pre-collision system with pedestrian detection is also included.
