Trim Levels
You'll have plenty of options to find the right Corolla for your lifestyle with seven trims to choose from. The base option is the L trim and it comes with LED exterior lighting, power side mirrors, a sport mesh front grille, and 15-inch wheels. Step up to the LE trim for exterior upgrades like heated side mirrors and larger wheels. The LE Hybrid model includes all the features of the LE trim with a hybrid engine. Opt for the XLE trim and get a moonroof in addition to the LE features.
For a sportier style and performance features the Corolla comes in three different sport trims. Both the SE CVT and SE (6MT) trim offer chrome exterior accents, 18-inch wheels, LED accent lighting, and heated side mirrors with integrated turn signals. The XSE trim features the perks of the SE trims and adds a gray metallic rear spoiler and moonroof.
Engine
Three engine options are available with the 2020 Corolla. The base trims come standard with a 1.8-liter four-cylinder engine that offers 139 horsepower and 126 pound-feet of torque. The sport trims come with a more powerful 2.0-liter Dynamic Force inline four-cylinder engine that kicks out 169 horsepower and 151 pound-feet of torque. For a more efficient drive, opt for the hybrid model that combines a 1.8-liter engine and an electric motor for a combined system horsepower of 121.
Performance
An available six-speed intelligent manual transmission gives drivers the chance to enjoy spirited acceleration and economic cruising with the feel of total control. Opt for the steering-wheel mounted paddle shifters on one of the sport trims so you can switch gears without taking your hands off the wheel. In addition to these performance-enhancing features, you'll always have the option to press the Sport mode button and take the drive to the next level.
Interior
Bring others along for the ride with seating for five and loads of comfortable and convenient interior features. A newly designed dash, center console, and repositioned front seats provide more room for drivers and passengers. Every 2020 Corolla comes standard with a full-color digital information display in the instrument cluster and a 7-inch or 8-inch touch screen with smartphone integration, Bluetooth, and voice recognition. Upper trims offer perks like heated seating, ambient lighting, and automatic climate control.
Safety Features
Toyota's Safety Sense 2.0 package of active safety systems comes with each 2020 Corolla. This includes lane departure warning with steering assistance, road departure alerts, full-speed dynamic radar cruise control, and automatic high beams.
